How to Install giflib-dbg software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

giflib-dbg software package provides library for GIF images (debug), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install giflib-dbg

giflib-dbg is installed in your system.

Make ensure the giflib-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep giflib-dbg *

You will get with giflib-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
